Heh, I'm in the same boat, though mine is two credit cards, one car payment, and a parental loan that can be saved until last. The best financial advice I've heard--that I'm trying to work up to--is that you save up one month's-worth of savings (to be used only in emergencies), then focus all your energy on paying off your smallest debt, which will then encourage you that it CAN be paid off.

'course, you may be like me, who's not even earning enough money to put anything away...

I guess that makes me lucky in a sense. I only have one card (which is actually a $6k weight dangling off my neck) and car insurance and gas to pay for. What was kinda depressing for me was that I finally started shuffling off a portion of my pay cheque into a savings account every time I deposit a cheque. Well all that money I saved up started to look pretty nice ... until I had to pull it all out and use it as an RRSP contribution for the year. So now I feel poorer ... even though I still kinda have the money.

all in all ... do some overtime, it adds up nicely and is even better if your job allows for overtime.
