I agree with alot of your comments, but i believe you contradict yourself in several areas. Well, not contradict, but you left out parts that made some points not makes sense. You claim that Americans are the ones that caused 9/11. And when you get down to it, the Muslim world hates America because of actions they have taken in the past. Ok, i'll buy it. But what i have a problem with is that you use the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan to prove your point. Woah, woah, woah. IF anything, after the the soviets were given the boot, America and the UN were considered a heros to the muslim world, AN EFFING HERO. was i the only person that saw the sixty minutes segment that showed bin laden in all his militant gear waving an american flag. Bin Laden said, "alah bless you for your efforts." So if you want to point out reasons we have hatred from the muslim world, the soviet invasion of afghanistan is NOT one of them. a situation the US should of stayed out of? maybe. ya i can see exactly what your saying but it breaks down like this.....The U.S. was still in efforts of trying to flush out communism globally.About the same time of the soviet invasion the U.S. was actually trying to undermine the communist regimes in five or six different other country's at the same time.Naturally the U.S. not only supplied the Afghanies with the weapons to defeat them but the U.S. wanted to spread its belief of world wide freedom.Now, here is where it gets good.
