Mac Text Editors

I'm currently working on a project that will involve a lot of coding on a mac with OS X. Can anybody recommend me a good text editor for this platform. Preferably one that has language syntax colouring (for Perl, HTML and CGI) and one with a regular expression search/replace feature would also be nice. Something like Windows Textpad

BBEdit used to have a really good reputation and I know it still exists but not how good it is these days.
