The dentist, ah the dreaded dentist. I'm not sure if multiple cavities are likely to pop up within 2 years, but perhaps they aren't that bad? Just barely started, and therefore he won't have much to repair? I hope not. And yes, definitely get knocked out for that shit. I don't do well with shots in my mouth, so I always opt to pay like $40 extra for laughing gas. I get so worked up and tense it's the only way to even kinda relax me. My old dentist was great, so I think I'm gonna go back to him. The last one I went to, my "new" one, is in Hartwell, GA when I dated Dave. Dude was crazy expensive. A cleaning cost me over $100. Anyway, I hope you get major coverage and not much out of pocket. If so, surely they can put you on a payment plan.
Luckly my cleanings are covered 100% and I could get 4 (just cleaning though, no exam) a year if I wanted. I think I'll stick to the 2 that come along with the exam. I called my insurance today to check on the anesthesia coverage and they'll cover it, so that's good. Monday I'll find a surgeon since the hygenist told me to do that before I get a panoramic xray done so they can look at the roots on my wisdom teeth in case they'd rather do it there. I think that's only covered once every 3 years so yeah, definitely don't want to have to pay for one! Ugh, I was so blissfully unaware, damn teeth!
