this is the most impressive livejournal post EVER!
i've been deep sea fishing with my dad on the odd occasions that i've seen him...
once we stayed in port renfrew, on the far east of vancouver island, and we set out to fish, originally we had planned on staying within eye sight of the coast, but we went out further, and the waves started to really pick up, probably only half of what you described, but it was still a very scarey feeling being in the middle of nowhere, looking up to see a wall of water all around you.

Jenna, that is insane! I'm glad you made it through in one piece. I can barely even imagine waves that big and lasting through a storm that long. Sounds like a looooong near death experience.
