Hair product recommendations?

Green ladies, what kind of shampoo/conditioner do you use?

I just bought some Giovanni 'Root 66' and it is making mine and Spencer's faces break out in a minor red rash. I prefer products without parabens/sulfates/massive amounts of alcohol.

I've tried many "green" beauty products and I just cannot get into them. Burt's Bees, Lush, Alba Organics, etc., etc. All of them seem to do exactly what you wrote: broke me out. Or didn't do the job they are intended to do.
