umm, kimmer, i think of all people she is saying that her relationship with you is still "normal." i would not take it in that manner at all.

jess, i don't think it necessarily has to be "weird" that we're not "best friends" anymore, i think its only natural that we all grow apart a little bit since we don't see each other so much and we're all so damn busy. but even though we may not be "best friends" i will always consider you one of my best friends and we'll always be good, close friends.
things are always weird when we're away for so long, but i think things are pretty natural and awesome when we're reunited.

I'm really sorry you're feeling so down honey. And things do change, I'm not going to try and say they don't. But change is inherent in the world and there comes times when you just have to run with it, let it take you and be flexible even in the strongest gales. And not to be preachy or to try and convert you or anyone to anything, but it's times when I feel like everything is falling apart that I see God. That and when things are beautiful, but mostly on both extremes of the spectrum. And things have been changing a lot, so I wouldn't even necessarily say I'm Christian, just spiritual, because it makes life meaningful and pointed. But this was probably the wrong thing to say and now you'll hate me for bringing spirituality into it. I just had a night in the wind and the moon, so it's hard for me not to be spiritual, at least on an earth level.

We live for the soul reason to increase entropy into the universe. We live, evolve, and grow more complex so that our bodies can generate heat at a faster rate and exhert more energy into space from the inorganic substances from Earth (it's why we eat). It's just a fact (and the meaning) of life.
