My roomy and I went to Brandywine Falls yesterday afternoon.
(My roomy)
We headed out on what I thought was going to be a normal hiking trail, which instead was a wooden bridge, winding down through the forest.
(The trail)
We decided we needed a closer view, so instead of staying on the wooden platform at the end of the bridge we crawled through the stairs and scampered down the hill to get closer to the waterfall.
(Platform where we're allowed to view the falls)
(The stairs we crawled through)
We scampered down the steep hill to the rocks, and hopped around on them to get a good position. The water rushing down the rocks made for an incredible, cool breeze.

It was beautiful, but considerably weak compared to what I'm sure it looks like during a wet season. I even laid down on the massive rock that was just beyond the spray from the falls, taking pictures and watching the water rush down the rock face. The greenery and flowers from the surrounding forest complemented the falls nicely.

We climbed back up on the bridge, and headed back to the car. Time for one last shot.
(Bench by wooden fence. This is the only barrier between on-lookers and the long drop of the falls)
