I have to say, I'm a bit worried that I see so many people change who they are for whom their with. It is a trend that I fear is never going to end. Now a days it seems like if you know someone for more than a year, you'll see them become at least three different people in that time. I agree. I have spent a lot of time single, because I have been focusing on other things in my life and haven't found many guys I would like to date. But, I have to fight the feeling that I should be embarrassed about it, and try to not give excuses. It would be nice to not have to worry about that, not always wonder if it is a sign there is something wrong with me when I don't have a boyfriend, and wonder if there is something wrong with a guy if he tells me I am attractive. But, since all women seem to learn this from birth, I don't know what can be done to change the way we view ourselves. And, as long as we see ourselves this way, guys can take advantage of it.
