Jesse lied to me............. Damn, I was all excited for no reason. He told me that the new 2006 civic si was to come with over 200 hp + for the first time ever, matching torque. He also said that the gas mileage would be better than any other si ever. Not true. Qoute from this one car website dawg "197 hp at 7,800 rpm. Torque is up to 139 pound-

The 06 Civic Si is the top tier civic as far as the hp/torque ratio goes. It is a performance vehicle so the gas mileage isn't gonna be like all the other civics. If you're looking for something with performance and good gas mileage honda vehicle, go for a 7th gen civic EX.
