Where I've been ...
Well, I've been away for a bit visiting my family in Cornwall with Kirsten, so she's gotten to meet and greet them all (apart from my sister, but since she's in Australia that's not really surprising). The time away was rather like the curate's egg: good in parts.
We stayed the first few days at my Aunt Kathryn's house. Kathryn was a missionary in Africa for many, many years and Kirsten is an Evangelical Atheist. Not so much fun.
Still, there were plenty of wonderful moments to balance the bad times.
We've been back three days so far, but have been busy packing up stuff and suchlike as Kirsten's started to move in today - the cats are here and everything - granted it'll take a while for everything to get from her current place to here, but the journey has begun, and all that.
When the pictures are developed from the holiday I'm sure we'll get some scanned in and posted up here.
In the meantime, I probably have a HUGE amount of catching up to do with reading your entries and checking my email and such (yep, back that long and still not really checked it properly, bad me eh?)
