Less than 12 hours to go for our stag and doe and I'm pretty sure its going to be a failure. I mean, I was looking forward to a big party with everyone I know and it seems like everyone's busy doing something or "Its too far" (Parkview community center in Barrie) or whatever

I'm sorry. I would have gone but I can't get out of work and I have holidays coming up so I can't really book off too much time between now and then :( I asked to switch with the other supervisors but they were busy.

no worries. I think I was just nervous for the whole day (i had a bridal shower that day too) and from the fact mom and I were arguing.

It turned out better than I thought it would. I just hope mom is happy with the turnout but I havent heard from her about that though...

Also goes by Jack & jill or Buck & doe a few other names depending on the crowd. Its a big party with all your friends and family before you get wedding. Lots of alcohol and gambling type games, silent auctions and draws and stuff with the profit going to the bride and groom.

Note though that wiki says its instead of a bachelor and bachelorette, but I've seen it done in addition to because its not exactly the same.
