I really like the idea that the body is finally matching the spirit. You don't have to be ashamed for a second of improving. I'm not going to say only skinny people can be happy or that it's the key to success - it's not, mind you. But the fact it seems to have liberated you means an awful lot.

And of course, if you know what you've achieved is good for you, and it made you less jealous and bitter... God forbid anyone from stopping your narcissism. ♥

David and I have been discussing other people in our lives who are very unhappy and also obese. We got happier with ourselves as we lost weight, and have found the freedom incredible and uplifting. We only wonder that these same obese people we know, if they straightened up, how much happier they would be, or eager they would be, to take on the world? I wish everyone who is obese would give it a legitimate and hard-pressed go to lose weight. It's not a definite key, but I'm sure it'd do something positive for their self-esteem. Then, atleast they would physically find it easier to approach whatever it is that would make them happy ( ... )
