I was accepted to Loyola University Chicago today, so that was exciting. I think that I would very much enjoy going to school in Chicago, I will have everything at my fingertips. The other thing is that Columbia College is right there and it would be easier for me to transfer there and make living accommodations while in Chicago. Everyone is ( Read more... )

It seems a bit strange to me that you should be sitting at home alone on your 18th birthday. Yet i'm sure it is your solitude that makes you so wise...and thus unable to relate to most of your peers. Yet solitude is a strange matter...and too much, i believe, may be troubling.

Awwwww Kate, I feel the same way. I know how good solitude can be, but sometimes I just crave to do something with my peers. Even if it was curling (Which is a very respectable sport) I doubt I'd mind. I guess in a sense, these livejournals promote a sense of community hard to find else where. Even then, it's still not the same as actual human contact.
See, now Ana and I will have to kidnap you and have you come hang out with us sometime. Haha! Do us all a favor and don't feel so glum. Just remember the people who truely love you. Personally, I always find that a comforting thought.

terribly! ha, i would rather not go anyhow, maybe if they played DECENT music, but I can't stand listening to Nelly or Crisitina Aguilara sing "dirty" for three hours.
