I have had an interesting weekend, maybe not good interesting, but simply interesting. I saw the movie Osama and was left speechless. It was quite possibly one of the saddest, most powerful movie I have seen in a while. I got stoned for the first time in two weeks and for the first time, it wasnt a good feeling. Hey katecaleal, i sometimes listen to joni mitchell -urge for going as well... is a new cd coming out soon?
The Passion of The Christ is in theaters soon - this week on Wednesday.. what do you think about this movie? I'm going to see it for sure - the trailers were enough to convince me. I read somewhere that it's the widest opening ever for a subtitled movie; I have a feeling subtitles won't detract from the full effect of this movie though. After looking at the trailers which have no subtitles or english at all, it was reinforced for me that lack of spoken english in this film won't hurt one bit. To sum up my impression of The Passion: it's a work of art.

Please don't campaign for Nader. Don't help re-elect George W. Bush.

I really agree with Jeremy. See I'm going to use a really lame analogy for Nader. He's really this big guy in a chicken suit at the baseball game. He serves no real purpse except to draw attention away from the actual game, while the guy inside the suit is really only flapping and hopping around because he wants the attention.
