Oh WDET. I always feel so bad during the pledge drive, because they're right, I should be supporting them. I love them. I just can't see my way to giving up fifty-two bucks. If some guy would come by my house once a week asking for a dollar... hell, I'd give him two, but I just can't make the commitment. So instead I just listen to the pledge drive as much as possible, reasoning that even though I'm not helping, I can just listen in to make sure they're ok.
