I have made the conscious decision to just let others have their beliefs and just not let it affect me. It seems to me that so many people waste their energy being upset by other people's beliefs. Why? I look at my Facebook amd it's crazy. The conservatives are always moaning about the liberals (and vice-versa), the Atheists are bitching about the Pope, and the Christians are all pretending like 'everyone' hates them even though they are the religious majority (in this country).

I personally have enough on my plate trying to figure out my own life and my own heart. I don't have the energy to be always upset that everyone else doesn't think like me.

When it comes to matters of faith I do make one assumption, though. And that is that people end up in the faith that feels like home to them. And why would I want to take that from someone?

It's true, my time could be better spent. But it's not about trying or wanting to take anything away from anyone. I'm trying to understand. But it does always leave me upset, at least a little

I used to be one of those people who believed that all religions were trying to get at the same thing. Not anymore. Some are just plain fucked.
