Valencia style summary and I welcome all added comments on anything I left out
Someone asked about this week's episode.
Kevin’s adoption lawyer mentioned that they found Sarah’s mom and that the only way he can adopt Sarah is by getting the mother to sign a document giving up her rights. She told him that she just got locked up for a drug bust. He goes down there to get her to sign when he sees this guy trying to harass her in to confessing, she keeps saying her boyfriend is the one. Kevin manages to get him out of the room, she thought Kev was a lawyer who was gonna represent her in trial, he mentions Sarah, tries to get her to look at pictures. She said the only way she’d do it is if he represented her. He tells Jess, she didn’t like the idea, but they both ended up doing it.
Dame is having cases that he had been working on takened away from cause of the case with the co-worker that died. This one chick that I guess is his secretary convinces him that he needs to have his own firm….u can kinda tell she’s into him. He mentions it to V, who reminds him he is the youngest one to make partner at DDK, well the girl mentioned that too, but I can’t stand her. V doesn’t agree with him having his own firm. Dame gets into it with someone at work the next day, The heffa suggests they get together to go over the business opportunity. He lies to V on the phone saying that he has a business meeting to go to and cancels his night with her.
He ends up at the chicks place I don’t remember much about that.
Kevin tells Dame to not do anything out of the ordinary since he felt guilty about lying to V, but that fool sent flowers to the office which is why Kev was trying to bribe the delivery man cause he knew who they were from. Kev had warned him b4 he went over there not to go.
Meanwhile Kevin invites Sarah's mama over to see Sarah. The chick he had over the other night{played by Eva Pigford, the latest America's Next Top Model Winner} stopped by cause she left something, she thought Sarah's mama was Kev's cousin cause he had said in the beginning that he was keeping his cousin's baby for a few days....didn't say if the cousin was a male or female which is why she thought she was. When she first heard Sarah he claimed she was a neighbor's kid and that the wall's were thin.
After she{Eva} left I think that was when Sarah's mama was mad with Kevin for inviting her over. Making her have feelings for her.
When they went to court the boyfriend was on the stand & he was being cross exaimed....he was trying to say that she made all the calls to this one guy for drugs cause the cell phone is in her name. In the begining she mentioned that everything is in her name, but he was the one using the phone.
In the end they played a trick on him....Jess called the number. It rang, the judge was like, "What is that noise?" "That's his butt ringing."{I loved that line.}
Afterwards she signed the paper. I forgot the convo in that scene.
V came to Dame's office, the secretary was standing over him all close & V was questioning him, the secretary tried to say something. V said shut up. She said Kev told her the truth and then she slapped him.
Now it was mentioned by someone else about a pregnancy, maybe I wasn't paying enough attention cause I didn't sense that.
