I had kind of a similar new year’s eve, just that we watched Frozen. I didn’t really like the Hobbit movies that much either. They are entertaining but that’s kind of it for me. It would probably have been better if they’d left it at one movie so everything unnecessary could have been left out...
I really hope 2015 gets better for you and you get to do all the things you want to do. And if not there is still another year after that, so if anything, you’ve got time. And I wish you strength and happiness and good fortune and everything else one could need! [End greeting card rant ^^;;]
That's the way to do it. :) How did you like Frozen? Well.. I wouldn't say I didn't like the Hobbit films (they were fun), it's more that they were just a little much (in terms of length and "over the topness"). Like you said, one film (or maybe two) would have been enough and probably would have captured the actual story better instead of three, which made it essentially another LotR trilogy. I pretty much consider the films their own thing/a loose adaptation (and the book separately).
Aw thanks. :) True... I do like to think that I'm not THAT old (even if at times it feels like I've just screwed up everything) and there's still some time to do stuff.. Although when it comes to studying, I really can't afford to continue forever. I wish you all that same stuff as well!! :)
I've seen Frozen before and it is still nice. I like that it's about the relationship between two sisters and not primarily about finding prince charming.
Well, it's not like I didn't like them, they are definitely entertaining, but they aren't as good as LotR which obviously is what I measure it against. I guess I just had higher expectations.
I guess there is a time limit on some stuff, but I think mostly we just pressure ourselves about things way too much. As long as you get there in the end it doesn't really matter if you needed more or less time to do it :)
Yup. :) I also liked the sisterly bond and the dig at "prince charming" :D plus of course the themes. :)
True. I don't know what I expected... I mean, the book is sooo different. I suppose nothing much. Yeah.. the LoTR films are quite epic and the Hobbit films are mainly a good bit of fun. :)
Hmm... yeah, I feel most of the time is wasted on too much worrying, but sometimes that is just inevitable. Hopefully, I'll get somewhere then... eventually. :)
