Ned was returning from seeing Arthur and Lyanna when he saw Robb, who looked quite in a hurry to be somewhere. "Robb," he called, raising a hand in greeting, and when he was closer, added, "is something amiss?"

From Robb's smile, nothing could be amiss. "Not at all!" he says, stopping when he reaches his father.

It was such a relief to see that look on Robb's face, and not one of worry or loss, that Ned found himself smiling in return. "Nothing amiss, yet something has your attention," Ned observed, wondering what had put him in such a good mood.

"Yes," Robb crows happily, "and I was just looking for you to tell you!"

"...what's the hurry?" Arya said, meeting Robb coming the other way and stopping as she waited for him to draw level with her, already half-turned in case it was something she had to hurry to, as well.

Robb pulls up short just before he's likely to run into her. "Arya!" He may be telling his family a wee bit out of the originally planned order. "Sorry, I was looking for Father--or Jon--or you?"

"Well, you found me," Arya pointed out, in case he hadn't caught up with that fact yet. "I think Father's at Lyanna's, I don't know about Jon."

"Probably at his house," Robb says. "And yes. I did find you. Well fine, you'll get to know the very next, then."

Jon was headed up to Summerfell himself, to find out if Sansa would consent to watch Rickon for the afternoon, when he saw Robb up ahead, practically jogging. Not knowing whether to be concerned or no, Jon quickened his pace a little and met his brother halfway. When he drew near he saw Robb's grin threatening to leap off his face, and Jon began to smile as well, without knowing why. "What is it?" he queried with a chuckle.

Robb half-tackles him, throwing his arms around Jon and hugging him fiercely, grinning fit to crack his face.

Jon laughed harder, hugging Robb back and pounding his shoulder til Robb was content to stand back, though his smile still threatened to blind Jon with its brightness. "I'm thrilled for you," he laughed, "but what am I thrilled about?"

"You should be thrilled," Robb declares, beaming. "It's a very good day."
