[SotP] 10.11
It is that time again...
Me:
I am in the final year of a PhD and it's eating me alive. Slowtime is constant, and the onset of it sudden and sporadic. I can only apologise in advance but expect everyone is well used to it by now. I will make a point to be around for stuff as called upon, but mostly will be playing on weekends. Friday and Saturday are good days. :) Anyway, October was so mad that I didn't get as much in as I would have liked, but that's life. So I refer you also to this entry from last month because not all that much has actually changed.
Also, LJ went and broke the Lj-login plugin, and I can't be arsed to log in and out all the time, so there's that.
Robb Stark
Took Reynald to the amusement park (off camera) and probably Del as well; I wasn't able to RP it all out but it was pretty standard amusement park stuff. :) Reynald has acquired a large stuffed animal that will come to life and be beaten back by Grey Wind. What sort of thing it is I am not yet sure, so open to brilliant suggestions--it turns out I can't look over sites of stuffed animals with the idea of savaging any of them. They're all too cute. (Also, do Nymeria, Ghost, and Honour want in on this? because you know, yay direwolves, defending the pack, etc.)
THREADS WITH: All the usual suspects. Anyone else. (I suck at this part.) Always, always Edmund and Jon Snow and Arya. Hiccup, Bill, we miss you. Gwen is apparently his IPD partner, so something maybe to do with that. Everyone.
Dairine Callahan
The other day I had to look something up from her canon and it all just hit. She misses her mobiles, and wizardry, SO MUCH. She just turned 20 last week, and is actually having a kind of hard time dealing with the idea that she has grown up on the island, and also that she hasn't been a working wizard in 6 years. Also, yet again she fell for somebody who then vanished, which is a hard thing to deal with over and over and over. Some of her stubborn idealism is wearing away, and it makes me sad.
THREADS WITH: last time we discussed having Maxxie and/or Harry and/or Kate do some corrupting, but then I got so busy, and I would still like to do that very much! Also want to hear from Polly about her wedding (wow, that should stir up some thoughts) and from Daphne about the arrival of Bay. Also, she'll be pretty much a Jedi-on-errantry when the Halloween horror hits, so if anyone wants to be rescued by a ginger with a lightsaber, that would be AWESOME.
The Future
Marie (Les Petits Mouchoirs)
Nothing really changed here from last month as far as intent--I still want her. I've watched the film over again with an eye to making copious notes about her mannerisms, reactions, the clutter in her flat, and her timeline. I read a couple of interviews Marion Cotillard gave about the film, and started writing an app. I had to put it aside to do some work, but it's still the plan--and I want it to be November, because her entrance post depends on it still being a tropical island.
