I decided to skip the 'threads wanted' section because they always look like 'everyone usual and also new people' and never seem to actually influence what occurs. So assume that I want to thread with you, and go from there.
State of Me:
Still eaten alive by work. I'm meant to have this chapter done by the first week of December, and then just keep on writing until my brain falls out, basically. I'm here, though. Tagging is something you can do in little wee breaks between sections. Just sometimes I'm a bit sporadic and sorry about that. I should have some relaxing time over Christmas break, anyway.
Also, I really wish I still had
branbach for this Victorian London thing. Alas.
Robb Stark
Still love him, still just doing his thing. I would really like some kind of pliot for him, though, possibly that involves fighting stuff. It's been a while. (Evil Halloween!toys notwithstanding.) Maybe Del could look after Reynald for a night and the Stark and Snow kids could go 'hunting' in the snow, or something? Camping trip? IDK. I love Robb and would post him more, but the routine doesn't change all that much. Should fix that. He is becoming a bit more accustomed to Del. Reynald is almost three. THREE.
Snow! I don't know that he'll like London all that much, but he'll love Winter, because he's a Stark and it's What They Do. I now desperately want pictures of Victorian!Ryan Gosling, but am not sure such a thing exists. Lots of time at the Frost Fair. Teaching Reynald to ice skate. (Perhaps learning to ride a bicycle?) He would love to have a proper feast, but Jeyne and Sansa are gone, and I fear the island does not want to come feast on what Robb, Arya and Jon can cook.
(Also, it amuses me greatly that if I've read the map right, Summerfell is across the street from what is now a gay club. But where are we going to put the horses?) I didn't read it right, we're apparently in St Martin's in the Fields. Which is AWESOME. Ghostly organ music! Carols! Crypts!
Dairine Callahan
Her last few have been kind of thoughtful and deprsesing, and Dairine is not actually depressing, so I need to fix that. Fortunately this month comes with Built-In Hilarity in the form of Polly's wedding dress, which is going to change into a fluffy Victorian monstrosity full of laces and corsets and they have no idea how to get her in it. There is also going to be a hen night that, as a joint venture between Charlie, Dari and Coraline, should be suitably bizarre. What else? She saved Bay and Daphne from freaky killer toys and so has met Bay now, but we haven't gone much further with that.
Snow! Dari in a bridesmaid dress! This makes me happy. She's actually tremendously happy for Polly and thinks she and Zell are very brave to go and get married when really the island could whisk one of them away any time. Between that, though, and some thoughts she started really delving into when Adam disappeared, she's been doing a bit of re-evaluating the way she thinks about some things, so is consciously working on a bit of an attitude change. We'll see how well that goes. I think she'll be figuring out how the clothes work and then dressing in boys' clothes, because it's just too much damn effort. Oh! Also, MISTLETOE POST. 'Cause I think it would be hilarious.
Marie
I literally JUST got her, and aren't even debuting her for a couple of hours! So the main goal is going to be 'get situated on the island', probably shortly after 'have a cigarette.' She's also going to need to find a baby doctor pretty soon (preferably a really cranky one, says the mun).
Snow! The time travel-like aspect will freak her out, because she's not used to the island yet. The Victorianness will annoy her, but be a little nostalgic and charming too. She's going to like the city part a lot.
