I hate summer. It makes me feel so useless. I hate feeling useless. ...But the thing is, I don't have anything useful to do. I'm taking a stupid, pointless summer class that I don't think I should be taking and I'm working a job that hardly gives me any hours. you could always decide to do something useful. what are you interested in that you don't have time to read about during the school year, for example? maybe history, some topic in science or something with politics? go get some books on some topics like that, or whatever you are interested in, and then perhaps if you start reading those you'll feel like you're doing something more useful.

you really can choose to make this whole situation better. e-mail your friends from germany. spend more time with your family. set your alarm for 9 or 10 so you don't wake up at 11 every single morning. and if you add in the reading about interesting, useful things so you learn more, or even some classic novels you wanted to read but never did, i think you can choose to make this summer MUCH better than it seems to be going.

that probably didn't help. but i wanted to at least try.

i hope you start to feel better and have more fun in the very very near future!!!
