i don't think this is necessarily implying that anyone tells people it's OK to rape someone...it's just time to stop asking women to bear the burden and live in fear and start focusing on the problem...the men who DO rape women.
and i have heard about frat house parties where guys will take turns doing passed out chicks. it happens.
it would be a tres sad world without women with long hair and short skirts!
did you read about the guy who was recently aquitted of rape because he "sleep-raped" someone? apparently got drunk, passed out with a woman and woke up having sex with her...
freaky.
people gotta take responsibility for themselves, their actions and their offspring...
yeah, i did read that actually. i don't know if i buy it. although if he stopped raping her when she pushed him off, that would be defendable, i suppose. alot of it would depend on whether or not he knew about the disorder beforehand...if he did, he should be convicted b/c he should have known better than to get drunk and pass out next to anyone.
anyway, i agree...it's time to shift the blame away from the victims. blaming them just perpetuates the problem.
#1. not know anything about the way EC works. #2. impose your own beliefs on the life of someone you don't know
i mean, i used to work at a coffee bar and HUGE FAT people would come in all the time and order whole milk drinks with extra syrup and whipped cream. i would have loved to tell them "no, drink skim or soy"...but it was my JOB to serve them what they ordered. so i did. jeez, how FUCKING difficult is it to do the job you were hired to do?
