I just turned in my take home final (and have no more academic duties!), had lunch (and still have money on my dba!) and mailed all my xmas cards (yes, it's a bit early, but be merry!). at MIT we call them pre-frosh, because we KNOW they're going to pick us. they're not "prospective"; they're coming! :)
Yeah, I really liked Hanover too when I stayed there for the summers. I don't really know why I didn't apply- I think I thought Dartmouth would be too small, and that there wouldn't be anything to do up there. It seems like a really nice town where everyone knows each other (which could get kind of claustrophobic, of course). Still, I'm glad you like it, even if it is COLD and you have to wear ugly SNOW BOOTS.
How warm is it in Miami? I don't think I could deal with living someplace that didn't have seasons. Oh well. Have a good trip home!

Yes, it's a bit small but there are TONS of things to do. It's hard to believe, I know.

Anyway, i really enjoyed ur lj 'cuz i visited Dartmouth in the summer through a program of theirs. I know exactly what you mean about the street crossing, and the green, and the people at salsa nights.. lol. i am applying, so maybe i'll join u up there next year. well, later.
