Far From Buddha

Mar 12, 2007 10:10

I still haven't made any progress as far as Buddhism goes. Unfortunately reading about it no longer inspires the desire in me to follow it. There are negative characteristics that have been developing in the past year that I really want to get rid of so I think I'll note them here before they get too big for me to handle and hopefully so that it ( Read more... )

Sounds like you need to get away from the world and spend sometime alone in a quiet place with nature. Then again, I think many of us need more time in places like that. Regardless I'm still wishing you the best in all your endeavors and I miss hanging with you! *pout*

Thanks for your well wishes. I think you are right and fortunately I'll be doing that once the semester ends.

Well hello! I haven't heard from you in a while, I hope all is well.

I'm doing alright. I graduated this spring and am moving to Colorado in a couple of weeks. My sister lives out there and I've had enough of the big city so I figured I would check out CO and see if it suits me at all.

Thanks for checking in on me =) You've always been sweet like that.

Yep, all IS well.

Congratulations on graduating. Sorry I missed you when we (my wife and I) were in NYC last month (18-27th). I dropped a note in your email, but I imagine you were pretty busy finishing school. I took some photos. (Best viewed as "slideshow" if you have good internet. Takes about 3 minutes.

I would miss the Big City. I come from a real crummy little town in a real beautiful setting (Big Bear Lake CA), and I could never go back to the way things are in a small town. I love the big city. London never wears thin.

Even so I can see how a person could get tired of it. Sort of.

Oh yeah, I had to move Edible Dirt. The comicgenesis server has been sputtering along at best and I just couldn't stay where my comic was down more often than not.

It's here now.

oh yeah, one more thing. There's a guy on LJ whose journal is always worth a read. A buddhist by the name of Jason McHenry, aka jasonwentcrazy
