Despite all my concerns with Avatar The Last Airbender With No Asian Cast Except For The Slumdog Millionaire and The Daily Show's Brown Correspondent I have to admit: the element-bending effects (courtesy of the always fantastic Industrial Light & Magic) look pretty awesome.

Ok. So, the trailer is cool (having seen it at the cinemas). But I'm so annoyed at the casting that I think I'm going to be skipping out on this one.

What, just because I liked the SFX in the trailer?

I've yet to decide if I want to see it. Certainly I want to see if in the inevitable pre-release cast/crew interviews they address the casting issue in any way at all, because if they're at least /aware/ of it that would make me feel better. If they're not, and they just completely ignore it, then no, lost me.
