From piratelicker: New BBC series 'Sherlock' to air this Sunday -- essentially a 21st century update of Sherlock Holmes, where Watson is an Afghan war vet who has to write a blog to deal with PTSD, and Holmes is well, a consulting detective. With a website and cellphone, and if the article is anything to go by, has a few shades of the Eleventh Doctor as well.

yeah the 21st century bit was a bit meh to me AT FIRST. But as I read the writeup and watched the trailer... I AM MUCH INTERESTED. Plus having that dude who worked on the Doctor helps.
