Where's Waldo? was banned because of a topless sunbather. Excuse me: a CARTOON of a topless sunbather. She was approximately the same size as Waldo. Some parent freaked. I'm about to post a link to a site that tells you WHY books were banned. I don't remember what it said about A Wrinkle In Time.

You should totally read The Bluest Eye. And Brave New World.

oh man, do you know in highlands north carolina, they have "little black sambo" in their children's section? i was delighted!
