Little Jackie was visiting with his grandparents for the day, so that meant I had the cottage to myself. To clean said cottage. My favourite activity. I had a rag wrapped around my head and was in some pretty scummy clothes, and for most of the day was blasting some tunes while I got on hands and knees to make our floors shine. I had tried to clean with one of the brooms in the closet which turned out to be....an utter fiasco, as that broom was a magic one and I ended up on the ceiling. I thought I asked Thundie to separate the two....

There was a rapping at my door that made me throw my washcloth into my bucket of sudsy water and practically run to the door. It wasn't a soft knock, it was a little worrying. I had a lot of things to worry about lately too. I threw the door open and my face went pale when I saw Dylan out there. Oh no, what was wrong? "Dylan? What are you doing here?"

I didn't say much immediately and grinned instead when she came to the door, reaching inside and taking her head in my hands, quickly pressing my lips to hers. Had to kiss someone. I let go and wandered inside, rather quickly and haphazardly, "Hey hey. Guess what? Go on, guess." I grinned and turned around, telling her anyway, "Somehow, I'm fine. Seriously. All good. No kidding."

The kiss was definitely a surprise. At first I was thinking desperation, some really terrible news, but then there was this look of complete exhilaration on his face that had me matching his grin. I stepped aside and shut the door behind him, totally in awe by this sudden change. Wait...did he just saw he was fine? "You're...you're alright? You're fine? No visions?"

I was stopped dead in my tracks, unable to say anything or move or react, I was so stunned. Suddenly I found my voice and let out a peal of disbelief and joy, nearly jumping from my spot in the foyer and right into his arms. I hugged him tight, squeezed him tight even, and kept bouncing excitedly. "You're alright! You're alright!" It was a miracle!

I hugged her back and grinned, not wanting to let go of her right now, so held her tightly, "I know! I saw myself in the library, and it was fucking terrifying, and I just...I passed out, or something, and I woke up and it was all gone and it's brilliant." I really quite wanted to kiss her again, but that, I wouldn't get away with.
