The sun had just risen as Dora slipped out of her room silently and headed down the corridor alone caring a basket of food she had gotten from the kitchen the night before. She tried to control her breathing to keep her heart from pounding. There were so many unknowns about today that she just had to focus on one thing at a time. And the first thing was getting out of the castle without getting caught. A week ago she wouldn't have known how to do it other than try and slip out the front gates without anyone noticing, and that more than likely would have backfired. But by chance she had come across Filtch mumbling about some passage way out of the castle. At first she couldn't believe her luck, but after much thought she became wary of it, and spent the last few nights deciding if she was going to go through with it. In the end she decided that this was something that needed to be done as she reached the passage way. She look around and thought she heard a noise but it turned out to be nothing as she slipped into the passage way. Wand out and lit she crept carefully down it until she reached the end which she very carefully opened the end of it. After she realized where she might be she crept out of the hole and covered it back up. She thought for a moment on how to get out of there, when she remembered that the kitchen of the Shrieking Shack that could still get into by apperation.

Dora closed her eyes and held her breath as she transported herself into the kitchen. When she arrived she let out a deep breath and looked around as she listened for any signs of movement, wand still at her side, though not at the full ready. She placed the basket of food on the counter and walked steadily to the basement door, thinking she would have to unlock it to get to Remus. However, when she got there, it looked like someone else had beaten her to it. Panic immediately flooded her body. She charged downstairs with her wand as full guard.

"Remus?!" she shouted as she looked around, not finding anything but claw marks on the walls and broken furniture. This would have normally alarmed her, but she hardy noticed it as she was looking for him. When she realized that he wasn't there, and that someone had not busted in and killed him there, she ran back up stairs and noticed that the door into the kitchen had been smashed as well. She ran outside and into the woods, wand still up looking desperately for any sign that he was out there.

"Remus?" she said at a loud whisper as she ran. She knew that there wasn't anyone around, but she wanted to keep things on the down low, just incase. She had to stop and catch her breath after ten minutes of running around. She had to admit that she wasn't as in shape as she used to be, sitting behind a desk didn't give her much opportunity to work out. She kept on walking fast as she kept looking around in every direction. She was starting to get frustrated and panic, tears almost forming in her mind, the worst case possibility trying to run through her mind.

Finally after what seemed like hours searching (though it had only been just over a half hour) she found a body lying on the ground. She made her body slow down as she crept towards it wand relaxing just a little bit. Once she could see the face she that it was his face and moved very quickly to the ground next to him, rolling him over to see if he was breathing or not. He was, despite looking pale, sick, and looking like he had been through hell and back, he would have looked like he was in a very peacefully sleep. She hugged his body and tried to over come the tears of relief that seemed to be determined to get through. Dora ran her fingers through his hair to get a better look at his face as she watched him sleep. She didn't want to wake him up, but she didn't know how else she was going to move him to his bed. So she just took off her cloak and covered him up, waiting patiently for him to wake up as she lovely kept lightly moving her fingers through his hair.
