Hermione cut through the Weasley's kitchen and out into the garden. She caught her breath as her eyes adjusted. The little puffs of fog in the cold night

And the night had started out so well.

Mercedes' lips were a definate shade of blue and her bottom lip did not stop shivering. MErcedes wanted nothing more than to go somewhere warm with Charlie like they had planned. She understood now why he wanted to leave. Everyone in the burrow seemed stubborn, and that many personalities at once seemed to compond a situation.
See Hermione brought tension and releaf to MErcedes. She hoped Hermione would be able to lighten the situation and get Ginny in the house without stiring the pot or causing another fight among the group.

"Nothing but a visitor who had no business being here. We sent him away, thankfully, but if you could take Ginny back inside, it might be helpful, Granger," Charlie said, with no more warmth than the air around him.

He tried a painful smile, due to the cold more than the situation... and yet he couldn't help feel that Ginny and himself hadn't been on the best terms lately. She was his sister, and as much as he would hate to admit it out loud... he missed her.

She sunk into a chair and inhaled the scent, allowing it to relax her. "Sam's sleeping," she told Ginny, updating her on what had happened inside as best she could. And Ginny was her favorite person with whom to exchange information. "But it appears to have ended--badly."

Arthur tapped on the wall to make his entrance known, he did not want the kids thinking he was spying.
"Sorry for interupting. Just wanted to grab a cup of water and a light snack."
Arthur cold tell from there rosey cheeks and noses that they had been outside. Perhaps consoling Charlie. The thought of his son leaving before Christmas weighed on him like a lump of coal in his stomache.
