last night when the sun set over the okanagan lake it was blood red, and casting this brilliant red glow out over the water. we can see the smoke pouring out from over the hills, and as of yesterday it's very lightly raining ash

i went through kelowna from revelstoke today on my way back to the city. so much devastation. and so many red trees from pine beetles. crazy!
i am so jealous of the weather. we had wind and rain in revelstoke but barely. it was nice. but not enough.
