Hold-up incident report (or, the gal who lived)

I wish this were untrue, and I wish I could undo this, but it needs to be shared.

At around 7:00 pm on 22 December 2011, Thursday, I withdrew money from Security Bank Annapolis GH branch, near my office. At 7:30-ish pm, I was hailing a cab across Richbelt Terraces. I only remember the cab being a beat-up white four-door sedan car with plate number

I'm SO sorry you had to go through this! it's sad how these motherfuckers think they have a right to do that to people who actually work to make a living.

I am very relieved that the word got to the media.
But most of all I am relieved you are generally alright. I know it will take some time for such a trauma to heal. I too have been a victim of assault in a vehicle. We were held up in a bus by five armed men. Having a gun shoved to your face demanding a cell phone by someone twice your size was no picnic.
You're very brave to have been able to fight back. Not many people would have or could have. You had the presence of mind to remember the faces of your abductors when others would have tried desperately to block it all out.

You should focus on recovery and be able to move past this in the near future.
