I don't think I should link to it anymore, and I tried to stay away from this issue, but as I've gone in and out of the cosplay scene I have also grown sick and tired of the crazy double standard -- let's face it, most humans of the XY chromosome in cosplay fandom WILL post photos of scantily clad girls who haven't even met these fappers. And then

Also roflmao +1000 for your comment re: Jeane Napoles' party. If she was going to burn the Philippine taxpayers' money, she should have come up with something more amazing than that bland little affair (SO HAWT. SO HAWT.) Like, seriously, she could have thrown a Moon Kingdom-esque party with that budget!!

nalungkot ako. i know that there used to be a lot of craziness I hear when I was still active in anicons pero yung ganyan offer ng katawan did not come across my ears. Did cosplayers behave better back in the days? Perhaps they had more self respect and genuine appreciation for the fandom? Ngayon kasi parang pasikatan na. Ginagamit yung event para to-be-seen nalang pero kebs lang kung anong fandom kaya sya bumihis ng ganun.

I just feel sad. I could go on and lament about these stuff pero hala....wala na akong enerhiya mag-rant. Nakakalungkot na ito ang magagawa ng ibang tao para lang sa isang bagay na for sure wala namang longevity. Let's face it, there's cosplay life and there is the REAL LIFE. Real life ALWAYS wins. Nakakalungkot na humantong sa ganitong estilo para lang makaporma. haaayy....gone are the days na ang pagko-cosplay ay isang bayanihan ng magkakaibigan.
