4 Sylar/Maya animated icons

Hi! Here I'm with 4 animated Maya/Sylar icons from episode 2x06 "the line".

First of all I want to say that I really HATE the "40 kb size" lj rule. I've to expend a lot of time converting the animated icons to this size and it's so difficult. It really tires me :(

Pretty icons! I like the first one especially. ;)

I also agree with your thoughts on Sylar/Maya. While I think that there will always be an element of manipulation in that relationship--because manipulation is just what Sylar does--I also hope that we get to see something in the way of conflicting feelings as well. Because if the whole thing is just sheer manipulation because he only wants her power, it would be kind of like just a rehash of last year's Sylar plotline. And as much as I love his shifty manipulative self, I want to see some new developments, too! But regardless of what happens, I absolutely love that, as you said, he sees himself next to her in one way or another! *crosses fingers for lots more Sylar/Maya scenes in future episodes*

I love these icons and will credit you whenever I use them. As annoying as the size limit is, I'm really glad someone is making animated icons of these two. They're just too pretty! ^_^

I agree that having a character that sees Sylar such a different way is very refreshing. Especially with Alejandro being so very suspicious. Sylar's lack of abilities coupled with Maya's power is a real interesting twist. I'm trusting the writers wouldn't end Saya in such an obvious way. They can't just not change Sylar from the way he was last season. Something about him will have to change somehow to keep the characterization realistic. If he does ever kill Maya it will not be as detached as his murders last season. I still don't want Maya to die though!

I'm agree, the tension between them (Sylar-Maya-Alejandro) is very interesting and I love that it's happening in a place like Mexico, a diferent scenario. The fact Sylar uses Maya actually don't bother me too much ;-) (I've a hunch in the future she will need him too) Did you see the interaction between too in the scene where she uses her power to cross the frontier? omg! It was totally impressive!
I can't wait for the next episodes!

I love their tension and the fact that they are trapped together in a car. That sort of constant close proximity must be beginning to get very grating, especially for Alejandro!

I think she will need him, since he's already made it clear he will need her (though I hope not just for her power!).

I love that scene! (Granted, I loved all their scenes together, but that's besides the point.) She trusted him to do the deed and he trusted her with his life. With trust like that I can't wait to see how their relationship will develop! ^_^

Love, love LOVE these icons! It's so nice to see shipper icons that AREN'T slash. Snagging them all and will of course credit.

Oh, and you said you've seen lots of people saying they want Sylar to kill Maya as soon as possible. I've seen several of slashers say that. Mylar shippers of course. So of course they are going to hate Maya ... cause "OMG!!111!! Girls=icky" *eyeroll*

Lovely icons though. I've never become this obsessed with a ship so quickly. (:

I'm agree with you, It's very pleasing to see Sylar interacting with a woman isn't it? I love to see him talking (well, maybe I've to use the word persuade) with her about his powers. I love them.

I agree with all you've said.
I guess that's why Sylar chose a different way to approach his goal. Because she is different from other heroes. She worships him! That's the thing he never had the chance to experience before. Nobody in his past ever admired him like she does now. I think it will somewhat affect him eventually.
I agree. I hope a bit of Gabriel appears. It proves how intellingent he's. He has change his tactic very quickly. He doesn't seem very surprised with all the Maya attention. So I think it's still too soon. I hope in the next eps. they (the screenwriters) difficult him to act this way.
