How can Bunty be short for Elizabeth? I can understand Beth, Bettie, Lizzy etc, but... Bunty?

(And I think this might make me officially stupid, but I don't get the picture).

Go google Elizabeth and Bunty and see how many hits you get.
But, yes, Bunty is short for Elizabeth. I'm guesing when everyone named their kids the same as the then new born Princess, people had to come up with a ton of nicknames.

I knew it had to be something like that - all this Elizabeth shit is a cover. Fits in with her asking after The Cosmic Wonder. She's hell-bent on universal power and treachery. Knew it. x
