Today I decided to dare all and follow a graduate student friend to the Georgetown Fencing Club in DC. Walking through Georgetown makes me feel like an impoverished schmuck. Every one wears nice boots, fancy jeans or dress pants, preppy jackets with collars and zippers, and occasionally a scarf or a cute hat. Don't forget the sexy leather gloves

the movie was not bad. amusing head-chopping, crotch-kicking fun. i bought it the day it came out, haha. i'm not mega impressed, but it's not bad.

For a low budget direct to video animated superhero movie, I thought it was pretty great.

But then again, I loved the DC animated series, so anything the same crew does I'm bound to like :)

It's not a bad thing to be able to hang out with people younger than you (or older, for that matter). I think the casual chat with a pseudo-stranger I've had in recent memory was with a 16 year old. We talked about comic books, of course. :)
