I just picked up and played my clarinet for the first time in 2 or 3 years. It was pretty fun and I didn't sound too bad tonewise either (despite playing my self proclaimed "shitty" plastic clarinet. I don't know where my wood one is, it's around though). I decided that I'd like to get back into playing because I definitely see it as an activity ( Read more... )

Ah, you weren't that bad yourself :-)
The middle G (on the 2nd line). I know it's the side key by the "A" key, but I thought there was another way to do it?

Isn't it weird that band-ness has been 1/3 of our lives? Remember when it was 1/2?
PS- I know how losing an instrument feels. I can't find my crappy flute. Then again, I might have sold it for $10. I really don't remember. :-D!
Maybe me & you can get together sometime, go out to your playhouse, and practice for S&E!
As long as you make the one guy want to throw babies, it is definately a relaxing activity!
