As promised, as soon as she has a chance to get away - and needs to because the Costa Linda thing is a big mess in some respects - Lois calls Ollie from the hyper-secure line from her penthouse. Good thing it's close to the Planet.
"Not...wrong. No. Not wrong. Just...I don't think Clark's thought things through enough, and Bruce might fly off the handle because that's what he does. So I just wanted to give one of you a heads-up."
On Costa Linda? I was expecting it, honestly. That's why I asked you to try and leave the League out of it. It was my call, not theirs, and I'm not gonna ask them to take responsibility for it. They can hang me out to dry if they need to, Lois, but that's not going to stop me from doing what's right.
If Bruce and Clark need to be reminded that we do what needs doing, not what's convenient, I'll be glad to deliver the wake-up call.
"No, no, no, it's not that. I haven't really spoken to Clark about it - he didn't even know I was going out west to meet with Reyes - but I bet he's proud of you. Bruce is probably another thing, but getting his panties in a twist is just him, you know? Wow...now I feel sort of foolish. The Costa Linda thing is important. I don't want anything getting in the way of what you're doing."

You had a question? I'll do my best to answer, but I haven't seen Big Blue in a while, so I don't guarantee I know. Something wrong?
