1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before? This year was really boring. I flew to Boston, planned a coup d'etat, got more in touch with my emotions...and that's basically it.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I don't know how well I kept my resolutions of putting more effort into things and keeping my priorities in line, but I think I did ok. This year, I think I'm going to try to focus on figuring myself out and not being so wishy-washy with my feelings.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? No.
4. Did anyone close to you die? No.
5. What countries did you visit? None. See? Boring.
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007? The ability to make decisions.
7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? No date in particular was memorable enough to come to mind. Gross.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? I had my best quarter academically, my Mock Trial team won a gold bid and kicked ass, I was a pretty good tour guide, and I got to help kids in inner-city schools learn and apply to college.
9. What was your biggest failure? Avoiding uncomfortable situations and not dealing with my problems.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Nope.
11. What was the best thing you bought? Seasons of How I Met Your Mother and Arrested Development. Dinners with my SVC tour guide group.
14. Where did most of your money go? Rent and my impromptu decision to stay in Boston for longer than I intended.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? My classes. Summer in Chicago. Working with and becoming friends with my coworkers. Being drunk at 9:00 pm and in bed by 10:00. A year with Billy. Going to Boston. Getting a sweet campus job. Gold Bid! Painting my apartment. Team Teddy Roosevelt. Not sleeping alone. Deciding not to study abroad. Living in the moment rather than the past and the future.
16. What songs will always remind you of 2007? Anything by Kelly Clarkson.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of? I wish I had more adventures and took more initiative instead of staying home and being lame. I also wish I studied a little more.

20. How will you be spending Christmas? Home with the family.
22. Did you fall in love in 2007? Yes. I did. And I still am.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery? Rediscovering Kelly. Casiotone for the Painfully Alone. Amazing 90's music and music videos on YouTube.
28. What did you want and get? Stability.
29. What did you want and not get? Adventure and excitment.
30. What was your favorite film of this year? Juno.
31. What did you do on your birthday? Showed up about two hours late to my own surprise birthday party and got tired and drunk by 10:00.
32. What was the best part of your summer? Aiva, Evan, Chris, Agnes, David, Callie, Julia, and Ryland.
33. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Mock Trial not sucking so hard.
34. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007? Ashley Comfy and Trendy. A lot of dresses and stuff, but still a lot of jeans and t-shirts.
35. What kept you sane? Billy.
36. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Zac Efron.
37. What political issue stirred you the most? Hilary v. Obama. That's basically all that's out there.
38. Who did you miss? Billy. And my friends.
39. Who was the best new person you met? All the Summer Visit Coodinators at my summer job.
