isn't it wonderful?! the river that goes through campus froze over a bit ago, and it's just the most perfect ribbon of ice, and the sidewalks get big ice patches on them, and there's snow all over everything, and sometimes the sky gets perfectly gray and everything is white and gray and black and

just
beautiful.
Even though it's so cold that if you go outside with wet hair it freezes, and you can't breath through your nose, and you can't breath very deeply through your mouth because your throat gets kind of paralyzed, and you need about a million layers to go out and your eyeballs and ears and eyelids and nose and cheeks and eyebrows and anything else exposed get so cold they go numb. it's WORTH IT!
