Saturday turned out to be a pretty decent day, weather-wise. It was clear and mild in the afternoon. The flea market had an okay turn out. We were one of 5 or 6 other vendors and I think we made the most money. We made out okay. My mom stayed with me for the weekend to help and keep me on track. I didnt let the stress of everything make me crazy ( Read more... )

Well I had an etsy shop for my clothes but a few months ago I took everything down and was set to re-open on the 15th of this month. But now that I'm without my laptop I dunno when I'll be able to get things up and running again. I'll keep you posted.

Girl...all I could think was 'what if I took the day off?' I'm one of those people whos first instinct is to fight. It might be irrational but the thought of someone coming into my home and taking my shyt pisses me off. I dont have much company. My cousin has 2 males that visit her sporadically. Theres a mini lounge/club in the basement of our building and maybe the robbery has something to do with them. I hope its no one close either. I'm just shaken up about the whole thing and just trying to think about my next move cause I dont feel safe in my apt anymore. 2 young women living alone are targets.

where did they come in from? the thing about burgalaries is that someone is definitely watchin ya'll comings and goings. did ya'll buy secured locs for the windows and such? do you have renter's insurance? if you have renter's insurance you can surely get a new laptop and such back if i recall correctly...

also see if management had something to do with it too, if the robbers had a "key"

Im assuming they came in the front door or thru the door in our kitchen that leads to the basement and left out the front door because the gate was open when we came home. It had to have been them because they are familiar faces on the block and a stranger coming from our apt wouldve raised some suspicions. Also nothing else of any immediate value was touched. A crackhead wouldve taken the radio, went thru the drawers and found the money, took the silverware, even a few pairs of shoes at the door. They came and took only what can be sold right away.

Girl I am beyond PISSED. Vengence is mine saith the Lord but I want vengence to be NIKKI'S! Ugh. I feel like raising hell until my stuff turns up but I know that wont do anything. *hugs*

My mom made the labels in microsoft publisher and I used clear Avery labels from Staples. They were really easy to make and I like how professional they make the bottles look.

I'll add you back on twitter raht nah! :)

Wowwww. I'm sorry to hear that Nikki! That's BS that the cops don't wanna come dust for prints. But, you have to have some idea of who did this. They had to know you had a Macbook because everything they stole was very specific...
