I know there are other reasons for wanting to take off and not be there to deal with. I did it too, only my problems were gay and not really a problem just a minor annoyance. I wanted a change of scenery, I got it and its not really what I wanted. I think another talk is in order.

whatever you do, make sure to have a fresh start. i am really glad i moved to texas, not because i like texas, but because its something different. its liberating to be away from all the drama. you have always been strong and i think your head is on strieght. i say meet new people, try new things. create yourself. i think portland would be fun, there are a lot of nice places around it too. being away is still away, no matter how far or close it is. its the feeling that no one can touch you. i can honestly say that you are one of my good friends, and youll do well with whatever you do.
