Favourite music: Irish folk (Clannad, Sinead O'Connor, Loreena McKennitt, Enya), Finnish melancholy rock (CMX, Kotiteollisuus, Viikate), classical, punk, hard rock, chansons, Edith Piaf, 60's music (Beatles, The Supremes), Queen (forever!), Sigur Ros, Björk... A lot really, though not hip hop or any other "MTV"-music.
Favourite books: I love reading, I read all the time. Stephen King, Tove Jansson's Moomin-books, Marya Hornbacher's Wasted... Too many to mention here!

How long have you been penpalling? Since I was 12, though had a break due to getting ill. Now I'd love to get back in writing letters.
How many penpals do you have? 4 now, I'd like to have some more.
Do you ever stop writing to people, and if so, why? I stop if there is nothing in common with us or if I keep getting short or superficial letters that are just written without a thought. I am not going to stop writing due to my illnesses anymore.
How long are your letters? At least 4 A4 front and back (though I usually write on A5 size papers), so I am looking for LONG LETTER pals.
How long do you take to reply to letters? I usually write one letter for two days as I need to have a thinking-break in the middle. I write back within two weeks, but usually within a week.
Do you like to include small gifts with your letters? Yes, if I find something nice.
Do you write on nice stationary? Yes, but if I use a plain blank paper, I will decorate it then.
Do you type your letters? Very rarely, only if my hand hurts.
Anything else? I suffer of chronic depression and eating disorders and I do write about them as well, so if you are someone who can't stand mental illnesses, then you shouldn't write to me. I write long and deep letters, I write about odd things, ugly things, beautiful things, I write about my life, my glorious days and my dark days. I am melancholy person, but I love life anyway, no matter how hard it gets. I am never giving up again.
I respect honesty in my friends and that they are willing to really open their hearts and mind to me while accepting words from my heart in return. Soul mates are what I am looking for, someone to share everything with. Someone to talk about anything under the sun and even things beyond it!
