Now I know what it feels like to have seen something that you desperatly wish you hadn't. I can't get those pictures out of my head, it's horrible. A nightmare

*hugs massively* Maybe you are being emotional, but how couldn't you be? Honestly. I'm a vegetarian, and I feel for those animals. The images that you are having in your mind keep coming back to you because you are fearful, guilty, and sickened by this. Feel better, Lily dearest. Keep yourself busy, TRUST me. It will help. Distract yourself. Don't think about it, seriously. It probably will keep coming back to you and when it does talk to someone, and describe what you're seeing, feeling, etc. Feel better.
Oh my god. I couldn't eat the meatballs in my spaghetti. I seriously kept seeing those EYES. Seriously. It was so weird, I almost felt sick.
I agree with you on the whole vegetarianism thing... I feel guilty, but I SO would not last without my meat. I just have kinda blocked it out... I don't think I'll be eating meat, or at least beef, for a little while, though...
When I told my dad I kept "seeing those EYES!!!" he told me that he once edited a commercial for Winn Dixie (or something like that), which is a supermarket in the south or something that is famous for its beef. He said the guy told him, "Whatever you do, never cut from a shot of the cow's face to the steak. Just don't show those eyes right before the meat." Good advice.
I really think that you don't have to be a vegetarian to absolve your feeling of guilt. Seriously, try wwf.org or aspca.org They give free weekly alerts. All you have to do is click a button and you can send petitions to your local congressmen. Not to make anyone feel guilty, but I feel like if you feel sad about this movie, you should do something. I heard people come out discussing how sad they were. when I offered the websites, people kinda nodded and kept talking. It really made me angry. Do something or be quiet. I'm glad you are feeling Lily. You make me proud! Love
