A copy of the Lost pilot is available on suprnova.org (a bit earlier than expected) and I grabbed it. I've gotta say: wow! Besides being thoroughly impressed by what I think was a quality ensemble performance and wanting to alternately lick, hug, and punch Charlie, I noticed that the files are unnecessarily big, and while big, high-quality files

Welcome! What do you mean? Anything that takes a really long time to download via BitTorrent won't play afterward? Are you sure you got the whole file?

Is this particular torrent working? Are you using OS X or an earlier version? If the image from the BT download site doesn't work, it should work with the python source + mac python. You'll have to do it using the command line though, which is a slight pain in the ass.

Thank you so much. I got the Link from dom_media and ahh , I tried to download it from torrents.co.uk but at 86% percent (two days of downloading) I got an error message *grumble*

if you start over again it should pick up where you left off (when it asks what directory/partial download you want to continue, click on the file that you had been downloading to before)

Thank you!! I got here via voodoo_in_tx. This was my first time using BitTorrent, so thank you for introducing me to that, as well as for the pilot. I just finished watching the whole thing. This show is gonna be a huge freakin' hit.

*pokes BitTorrent* It got to 74% and kept giving me an error message every time I clicked on the file to continue D/ling it. So I've started using the link here. Thanx for posting.
