2. Replace "Read" with whatever you would like to appear next to the number of comments which you receive. Once again, check the picture for a visual.
3. Replace the "l" with whatever you would like to appear between "Read" & "Comment". It separates the two links. Once again, check the picture for a visual.
4. The next set of text are the urls which will appear on the layout. Once again, check the picture for a visual. Since these links are currently set up for the community, you will have to do the following. First copy this a number of times (which is the url code) TEXT HERE.
Then go to your user info--copy the url & paste it into one of the url codes. Then go to your user icons and do the same, then friends page, and whatever else you would like to link there. Make sure you paste it all back into the original location of the original urls. After you finish putting all the links together, go to the "user info" edit page, and add a url to the "url" space, it can link to your journal or to some community, whatever. If you don't have a url there, the links won't appear on the layout.
5. Replace "Read" with whatever you would like to appear next to the number of comments which you receive. Once again, check the picture for a visual.
6. Replace "Comment" with whatever you would like to appear when someone wants to leave a comment. Once again, check the picture for a visual.
7. I believe the next set, which is for the scroll bar, is pretty obvious. Go to www.coloryourprofyle.com, go to the "color" table, find colors you like & put the codes in place of what is there.
8. This is the font which will appear on the layout & the fon'ts size. Pick a font & size, and change them all to appear the same.
9. "11px" is the line height. So if you want to double space the sentences in your entries, make the number larger. If you want the sentences squished ontop of eachother, make the number smaller.
10. Change all of the "8pt" to the chosen font size.
11. "Width 30%" is how wide the entry boxes will appear. If you choose to use a header, play around with it so that the entry boxes are the same size of the header. To do this, simply add percent or take percent away until it is perfect.
12. If you want the entry boxes to appear to the left of the page change "center" to "left". If you want it to appear to the right, change "center" to "right" & if you want to keep it in the center, don't change it.
13. If you want the entries to be to the left but not all the way to the left, put in "30%" or some such number, see where the location is, and minus percent or add percent based on the location.
14. Do the same for the right.
15. This is where you decide if you want a border. If not, make it "0px". If you want a thick border make it "3" or even "4". If you want a solid border, leave solid. If you want a dashed border, replace "solid" with "dashed". And finally, replace the current color code with whichever color you'd like the borders to be.
16. If you want a header, paste the url of the header in this place. If you don't want a header, leave it empty.
17. This is where you type the height of the header. If its 12px tall, put 12px, if its 300px tall, type 300px. If you choose not to have a header, make this between 5-10px tall.
18. If you want a background of some kind, whether it be a pattern or just a picture, paste the url here. If not, leave it blank.
And that is it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, but do so after trying out the layout. Credit is not necessary but if you want to paste the button for this community so others can come here to get a new layout, I'd really appreciate it. (take the button from the user info).
