Howdy all. I have, as of this moment,, two minutes to write all I can. Well, that's the amount of time I'm supposed to spend online, but hell, my ma's in bed

Erm... you could change the lightbulb and get up later? Or is it one of those nasty ones that needs an enormous (sp?) ladder that your household does not have?
What is Irish homework? We had Australian Studies, but I never took it as a class. I think it was about history...
Can't say I miss test and exam time. My little brother is doing his final year exams at the moment (as our seasons are opposite to yours, our school year runs late Feb - early Dec... get our 6 week summer break over xmas/new years and start a new school year in the new year!). Poor bugger has 6 x year 12 exams to do. That's like 6 A or O levels or whatever you call final exams over there.
I hated algebra. All maths, really. Probably because I spent a year or so staring at the boy I lurved in the classroom next door instead of doing my maths work! (He didn't know I lurved him).
Irish, is mostly the language, like the grammar and literature and stuff, and it's compulsory. I curse my mother, because I only moved from england when I was eight and so didn't technically have to do it, but she decided I had to and so...*sigh*...I do. But there are two levels in most subjects here, and I'm only doing Ordinary (lower) level irish because you'd have to be practically a native irish speaker to do honours! A lot of the time, though, the things you study in order to get a grasp on the language incorporate a lot of irish history too...but generally it's a seperate subject altogether. We have to do at least 6, preferably 7, and some ppl do 8 subjects, and it's all a points scheme, with no continual assessment work or anything, so I hate the system here. It's too broad for you to be able to go in after five years and spew all you've learned out in 8 2.5 or 3.5 hour exams...shit..i'm rambling on here...so I'll go..see ya :-) Oh, btw, what's the set-up where you are? What sorta system do you have to go through?
