Even though this is very traditional looking, could I make it work in my living room??

I'd love to find a (inexpensive) chair in this fabric for reading in (my room).

I don't think it'd work in your living room since it's on the mod side. I had the same dilemma with that print!

Here's some links... my furniture is brightly colored, but my entrance table and credenza that my tv is on is black, and mydining table and chairs will be black also, once I finally paint them.

I think it might work... I actually believe anything works if you like it. The pattern is traditional but the piece itself is pretty modern. Is it possible to take it home on trial run?

I got two ottoman on sale there a couple days ago, but not that exact one. I do have a matching pillow, which I use in my bedroom.

I think it would work in any room that has a some larger, solid-colored pieces.

Yeah, I was thinking of one or two instead of a coffee table... plus, it's extra seating in a pinch.

I have a brown leather ottoman (with an insert that flips over to form a semi-table like top). I love it!
